Did you have tickets?

Rock band The White Stripes have called off their UK tour, just days after they shelved a string of US dates.
The band announced on Tuesday that drummer Meg White was suffering from acute anxiety, leaving her unable to travel between concert venues.

^ Funny how they never get acute anxiety during a debut tour...innit!

Yeah, at least they'll get refunded.

I'm really annoyed though as I was looking forward to it. And acute anxiety, what the **** is that? Whatever it is it's acute, so she should get over it. I've probably gone and insulted a load of people now and made them more... anxious?

At least I've got Arcade Fire three days afterwards.

Look on the bright side.
Next time up, get tickets early and make sure they're better than the ones you had.

You're loss is my gain. I couldn't afford the tickets at the time they went on sale...holiday/wife's birthday = being skint.
I'll be ready next time though...credit card poised.

Well I got pretty wicked tickets this time, so y'know.

Also, I got the tickets this time about three days after they'd been released. They didn't sell out so quick as before. I would've been so hyped if Cold War Kids had come along too though.

Default White Stripes

The White Stripes are truly an amazing duo. They are versatile in ways that most bands could only wish. They play the blues style like they grew up black in the south during the 30's(Death Letter, Lord Send me an Angel). They can put together a garage band riff and beat in a split second(Hypnotize,Black Math). geez they can even do covers too(I Just Don' Know What to do With Myself-Burt Baccarach, Jolene-Dolly Parton, One More Cup of Coffee-Bob Dylan, and Conquest-Corky Robbins)what can they not do? I've heard Jack play a myraid of instruments... guitar, piano, marimba, bagpipes, and the mandolin. i would like to know others thoughts if you would. once again i may be wrong, but i respect the white stripes.

^I'm assuming its EX wife and husband because Jack White has been linked with lots of stars. Unless they are swingers of course...
