Conquest should have been the opening album track! That intro...
On first listen, 300 M.P.H. Torrential Outpoor Blues is the outstanding track for me. First impressions?... Edit: Jesus Christ on a bike!...'A Martyr For My Love For You', has just hit me hard...strikes a personal chord. The lyrics, the moods that song evokes. Calm/manic. This song makes me nervous. God I love this band. End of enthusing. |

Aye...it's much better than Get behind me Satan. I'd even go so far as saying it's on par with Elephant. God I wanna see them live again so badly. They are the best rock band in the world right now. I just can't figure out how two people can make such monumental music...I mean, the amount of noise they produce is incredible...
You should seriously sell your kids and go see them, I fell in love with them after seeing them live, so I'd imagine they'd blow your fucking mind. Off topic, I'm a little pissed that most people here are willing to post pages and pages of bullshit on how The Beatles are better than The Rolling Stones, yet no one seems to bother commenting on fresh (and pretty fucking awesome) music. The same shit happened to the new QOTSA album, and it's happening again with Icky Thump...

As i've downloaded about 500 albums for free in the past few months I think it's time I paid for one.

Kids For Sale
Well trained in running errands to the corner shop. Specialists in fetching and carrying...Beer/Ciggs etc. Slightly lippy, but nothing a crack round the ear can't cure. Need funds for next White Stripes tour. Offers should be made via PM only. No time wasters! |

Also, if you were referring to QOTSA's lullaby's well then that deserved to be ignored in my opinions. I love them, but the two prior own its face.

No, I'm referring to Era Vulgaris. And give us a break, who actually waits to buy the album at a store nowadays...>.>
