I love both songs! Ugh! I agree Up the Beach is more intense but Underwater Love means a lot more to me.

aww dude you're really hurting me with this one hahaha but i gotta side with Jane's. though Underwater Love is definitely one of my favourite tracks from The Real Thing.

Faith No More - 2 Not because I necessarily like Faith No More any more than Jane's, just not enough going on in Up The Beach, always felt like a filler track to me.

I don't think 'Up the Beach' is filler, I mean it's the first track on their debut album. I think it's just an attempt to be unique and really get the attention of its listener. Maybe it didn't work for everybody...

Jane's Addiction - 4
Faith No More - 3 I really didn't like either song, but Faith gets my vote because I like the music a lot more. I didn't care for the vocals in either song, and Jane's song was just boooooring.
