Regarding the new war, I'll take Joy Division. Overall I prefer them but there's a lot of other Smiths songs that could have won me over.

I saw them on the California tour in a small club, amazing show but that particular song/performance doesn't really do much for me. I prefer the studio version (with all the samples included).
