Jesus Christ, how about not posting 5 times in a row? Anyway, I love the fact that no one Has Mentioned Douglas P. of Death In June yet. His sexual orientation alienates white nationalists, and his fascist imaginary alienates more left-winged types, it's perfect! I've also seen no mention of Kaki King either. |

Surely it makes no difference what sexual orientation a musician is? I know that was not the intent of the OP, to pigeonhole and single out LBGT people in the music world, but I feel this is what has inadvertently happened. Everyone is now posting videos of gay/lesbian musicians and the underlying, if not intentional, sentiment is: they're not so bad. Even though they're gay they can make decent music?
I just think segregating people into these sort of groups is intrinsically bad. Why not just ignore a person's sexual orientation/preference and concentrate on the music they make? Who cares if musician X is gay, lesbian, trans or alien, as long as they make decent music? Is what I think...
