i have always felt that the accordion need to be more in popular music....when done right it can really set a mood

The pedal steel guitar is an instrument that despite it's versatility seems to be forever confined to country music. Pink Floyd utilized it in the song One of These Days, and there have been a few other random examples that escape me, but I'd love to see an artist really break out with the instrument.
