I would post about Wavves in a thread like "bands you hate that other people tend to love," but I would probably guess about 95% of people would just hate my taste in music in general. I can't think of one particular band or artist though...Cage? Ingrid Michaelson?

Also...

City and Colour
The Faint
Ghostland Observatory
K-Os (if he counts)
Underoath

I'm pretty sure I'm safe with the rest of my music.

Not necessarily...it's just that while our tastes might be internet forum popular, the large majority of people you see on the street and ask, "hey do you like Tullycraft?" or whatever will probably be like WTF?

Dude, you can't defend Dookie one post and then dismiss Smash--they came out the same year...

I can, as Dookie an infinitely better album. Plus Green Day were one of the first few bands I got into. American Idiot 2004/2005..

So it's partly sentimental reasons, but I do think Dookie is a great record. Same can't be said for Smash I'm afraid.

Why not? Smash is great. It received unanimous critical acclaim and at the time was the highest selling independent release ever...

I just remember it being a bit crap. If you're gonna bother doing Pop-Punk, do a Dude Ranch or Dookie.

No please don't.
If you're gonna bother doing Pop-Punk, do a Trashed or At The Club.
