I never heard it. I liked Cannonball a lot, but never had to urge to hear the album.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I refuse to like any generic Rapper that comes out of the woodwork and tries to pass off his rhyming skills using words like 'hoes' and 'ma bitches'.
...These guys make me hate rap even more, even when I know there may be good stuff out there. They've turned me off forever...

i refuse to like any generic Indie band that comes out of the woodwork and tries to pass off their songwriting skills using folky vocal harmonies and 'unorthodox' instruments.

...these guys (and 1 girl - i mean they ARE indie bands after all) make me hate indie music even more, even when i know there has to be some good stuff out there. they've turned me off folky acoustic music forever...

how awesome are generalizations?

DistantOblivion likes Dream Theater, so...

I refuse to like any generic Prog Metal band that comes out of the woodwork and tries to pass off their lack of ingenuity and creativity with pretentious solos and "technical" ability.

I refuse to like any modern-day "country" balladeer. They try to hide the fact that it's really just pop/rock formulaic bull**** with a twangy accent in the vocals, but you can't fool me, mother ****ers!

Songs glorifying consumption, stupidity and a low standard of living make me really, really mad. The people that jump on that bandwagon should be shipped naked to the Middle East. Proof positive of peoples' tendency to buy into cliches and generalities that are actually making fun of them. "Hey, buy my ****, you stupid redneck. Because this is marketed to stupid rednecks, so buy it, sing along and drink your ****ing Corona, dip****."

There's a few worth paying attention to, most are just marketable acts that the indie press can hype without fearing retribution for being creative or somewhat unusual.

Folk rock is awesome when done right, but it does seem like a lot of current bands are using the same obligatory formula, no matter the situation.
