The Unicorns. Whenever I hear their carefully ripped-off indie hooks and feel that annoying childish vibe they send off (not the good kind of childish, either), I facepalm at Kenyan speed.

That makes sense. I've managed to get into some bands where I despise the singer's voice. Bloc Party for example. The Hold Steady on the other hand, I won't touch with a 30ft pole.

Oh, also, I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this but, if someone I used to like played them a lot around me and I eventually disliking the person, I will dislike the band most of the time too. This really obnoxious hipster I slept with last summer ADORES him.

Michael Jackson - Just dun likim' (I have no opinions about the man, honestly, just don't like the music). U2 - Eww. Most female artists - Call me sexist, it just hurts my ears when girls sing for some reason. Only women with stronger voices can massage my ear drums just right, but it's a rare occurrence still. |
