James' thread has had a knock on effect. It got me thinking of those geniuses that were troubled.

The last months of Mozart's life must have been a real nightmare. Without enough time to compose the Requiem, that sinister unknown messenger, his obsessions on death, fatigue, illness, fever...

I know lots of alcoholics, they're all chirpy enough. I might have to watch a documentary on The Doors/Jim Morrison soon.
