Well that makes my 8 greater-than signs look like major exaggeration.

Depends on how you scale your greater-than signs. Rather than making the gap between FWN and Humbug look too great, I think it makes your gap between Whatever People Say and FWN look too small...

The Clash:
London Calling > Give 'Em Enough Rope = S/T > Sandinista! > Combat Rock > Cut the Crap Windir: Arntor > 1184 > Sóknardalr > Likferd I might do an XTC ranking after I give some of their lesser-known albums a reappraisal.

Blink-182 and various side projects
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket > Enema of the State > Blink-182 > Box Car Racer > Cheshire Cat > When Your Heart Stops Beating > Buddha >>>>>>> I-Empire > We Don't Need to Whisper > Love I'm scared for the new Blink album... it's probably going to stink. |

Beck
Odelay>The Information>Modern Guilt>One Foot in the Grave>Guero>Sea Change>Midnight Vultures>Mutations>Mellow Gold I debated not given #1 to Odelay but it has too many classics. Fugazi The Argument>Repeater>In On The Kill Taker>13 Songs>Red Medicine>End Hits>Steady Diet of Nothing but all very consistently amazing. |

Mellow Gold is my favorite by far. I don't own all his albums but the ones I have (Guero, The Information, Odelay, One Foot in the Grave, Stereopathetic Soul Manure, Sea Change, Mellow Gold) are all pretty hit-or-miss, except Mellow Gold which I love all the way through. "Steal My Body Home" is probably my favorite track on the album.
