Goobye Plan-It-X Records
Apparently Plan-It-X Records is having a final festival next year, and will then shut down. If you don't know anything about the label, it's an independent record label very against the idea of using music and art for money and profit. Every CD released by the label is sold for $5 or less, and the money raised by their annual festival is donated to charities. This is pretty depressing, as I think the label has one of the best ideologies out there, and really works for fun rather than trying to make money. Of course I'm sure that's why they went bankrupt, if only more people had paid the optional downloads
They've released albums and EPs from Against Me!, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Ghost Mice, Defiance, Ohio, This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb, Japanther, and a whole list of other artists. |
