Red Hot Chili Peppers in the movie Tough Guys back in 86. I loved this movie as a kid and this was my first introduction to the band.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Am I the only person who actually likes the Primus live performances when the guitar is higher in the mix than normal? I love Les and all but Ler is awesome too and they have a completely different sound when his guitar takes the lead. For example, this version of 'Wynona' when the Letterman crew had no idea how to mix a Primus performance:

I'd give my right nut to go back in time and see them during that era.

What song is that they are performing?

Yeah, I think it was the performance more than anything that interested me as a kid. They just looked so crazy and fun there.

Yeah I agree the song didn't seem very good, but cool otherwise. Never seen or heard of that movie.

It was about two old crooks (Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas) who get released from prison after having been locked up for several decades. When they get out, one keeps trying to relive his youth while the other immediately starts acting like an old man (hence the intercutting in that clip). Dana Carvey is their parole officer.

Haha. I think I remember seeing that when it actually aired!
