Default Trying to learn about connecting my piano/keyboard (korg sp300) to my macbook.

What would be the best forums i should look on?

Basically, I have a korg sp-300 and it only has 30 preset sounds, and i want to get a trumpet sound out of it. I have a macbook and recently downloaded a trial version of Ableton Live, but am not sure what type of hardware/software i should use?

You'll need to find a device that converts an audio input to a USB input. Like this:

Griffin Technology: iMic - USB Audio Interface

It also depends if you want MIDI (notes) or audio to go into your mac. That is, whether you want the actual audio from your keyboard or if you want to use it as a MIDI controller for digital instruments.
