I know I sound like a broken record with my love for this album, but Boards of Canada's album the Campfire Headphase is the single most relaxing album of all time. I've had several near freakouts but I'm fine after a few songs on that sucker. There is something about that album that completely levels me out.

I find i'm most relaxed when listening to artists like Noah Gundersen (formerly known as Noah Gundersen & The Courage) - his voice is absolutely incredible. You must listen to his song "Middle of June".. his voice makes my skin crawl.
Also, James Morrison, David Gray and The Cat Empire pretty much rock my world.
