Dr Fritz Sennheiser has passed away, at the age of 98.

I'm sure a few of you have had some Sennheiser headphones in the past, and I'm sure some of you have used their mics as well.

I am also wearing Sennheisers at the moment. In fact all 3 sets of headphones I regularly use are Sennheisers.

I know nothing about the guy but RIP.

Sennheiser is my favorite stage and studio microphone, after going with Sennheiser I never really used the Sure 57 & 58s much on lead vocals anymore, mainly used the Sure mic's for lining in instruments, RIP

Awww i'm also wearing sennheisers right now, i've two pairs of sennheisers headphones at the moment and they're both great headphones. RIP dude.

I didn't even know it was a person, but I also own several pairs of his headphones. RIP.

And they are well worth the money, they immerse you in the music.
