I really wish id got to see the Dio Sabbath line up. I assume thats what you saw Tore? Ive seen the Ozzy line-up which for me, is the definitive and theres no comparison but theres some stuff decent stuff from the Dio era.

I was wondering why they pulled out of the Sonisphere festival (Heaven & Hell that is) and obviously they knew something we didn't. Very saddened by this news as I was hoping to see him with the sabbath guys in June. RIP even if your lyrics were a crock you still made some damn classic Metal.

One of my favorite singers. He was on the hottest of hot streaks during the late 70's/early 80's with Rainbow Rising, Long Live Rock n Roll, Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules and Holy Diver. I'll remember him as one of the greats.

Stunning album and one that helped me through my teenage years a lot. Still sounds good over 25 years later.

I just found out about this. Very sad day for music. He will surely be remembered as a metal icon.
