I love all of Pomplamoose's covers.
Especially MJ's 'Beat It' and Lady Gaga's 'Telephone'. (and I don't even like her original.)

I just did a cover... on YouTube...

But it's not that good. Shameless self promotion anyway!

When one of the guys started replicating a trumpet in the first song, I almost shat myself.

^ Sung by some kid at a school concert somewhere or other. Of course it lacks that violin solo that makes the original so awesome, but I think this is a pretty remarkable cover and considering I usually hate obscure youtube covers, that's saying something.

So yes, this is totally masterbatory, but I've taken to covering rap songs and this Eminem cover is my latest.

I really like Andante Largo, he has such a professional relationship to the music he plays.

He is a classically trained guitarist, while he also composes his own stuff, you definitely wanna hear his covers first where he does classical takes on everything from Yann Tiersen to The Beatles to Bach.

Here's a sample:

^That is fu*king brilliant

As far as youtube covers go you can't have a thread about them without this:

I mean, that video launched a real music career for them

I also really dig this one I found a couple of weeks ago:

I like to listen all songs Hannah Montana. She is the best female singer in the world. She performs best all times. My most favorite songs are Nobody's perfect, The Best of both worlds, If We Were a Movie, I Miss You, Life's What You Make It and Make Some Noise. These all songs are very popular in the world and All people are like this singer.
