I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

4 months and you haven't found ONE song you enjoy? Wow.

Fang Island's "Daisy" is my favorite song of the year so far, followed by Dillinger Escape Plan's "Widower".

Not that was made in this year...I've been listening to older stuff recently.

I've only downloaded two albums from this year so far, so my choices are a bit hemmed in. But..

Mineshat II - Dessa, not quite as good as the original which appeared on False Hopes, but a great song nonetheless. It was hard making a choice from this album though, it's incredibly consistent.

Sheep - Gonjasufi
, the standout track on this album so far, maybe just because it's the most accessible compared to most of the very lo-fi tracks. Gaslampkilla's production is sublime, and Gonjasufi's cracked voice fits perfectly.
