I've only downloaded two albums from this year so far, so my choices are a bit hemmed in. But..
Mineshat II - Dessa, not quite as good as the original which appeared on False Hopes, but a great song nonetheless. It was hard making a choice from this album though, it's incredibly consistent. Sheep - Gonjasufi, the standout track on this album so far, maybe just because it's the most accessible compared to most of the very lo-fi tracks. Gaslampkilla's production is sublime, and Gonjasufi's cracked voice fits perfectly. |
