I actually like First Impressions of Earth Album best... and I know most would think me a bum for thinking that, but I'm a long time Strokes fan and though I love all their stuff, I'm just partial towards that sound xD Ace choices there too, bud, it was a difficult decision, aye? end has no end... ahh love htat one

Well, I quite like her songs "Run" (even though it's a cover) and "My Hands" but apart from that... It's listenable.

The Strokes make me sad, they were touted as THE band of the 00s and they just never lived up to it. Is This It was a brilliant garage rock record then after that they were just mediocre, I hope they produce something special with their 4th album but I highly doubt it.

I never quite understood why anyone considered them THE band...I love "Is This It", but it was hardly a groundbreaking album. It was entertaining, but hardly fit the bill for my "best of 2001" list.

I'm taking this opportunity to plug the Swirlies again. Mew took a lot of influence from them, and they are also their favorite band. Not to mention Damon produced Mew's debut album.
