Top 5 songs by Lou:
1. Sebadoh - Perverted World 2. The Folk Implosion - Merry Go Down 3. Sebadoh - Vampire 4. Dinosaur Jr. - Your Weather 5. Hate to do this, but it's a tie: The Folk Implosion - Checking In/Sebadoh - Emma Get Wild Kinda wish I could shove Lou Barlow's music down the throats of all the little fucks that think Girls and the likes is the greatest music that haven't even heard his shit before. |

Top 5 musical pet peeves
5 Glam Music (pretty general, but it does bug me). 4 "Genetically created music", ie the music that sounds like it was a preconcieved idea. This pertains mostly to the whole Disney charade, as well as certain musical collaborations which fare out terribly. 3 Musicians who use lo-fi as a cloaking device for their lack of songwriting ability/talent. 2 Anything excruciatingly technical (as I listen to music for enjoyment, and not to go through a math homework simulation). 1 Music that exists solely because it can, non-threatening, breaks no ground, often carries the facade of being 'fun' and 'loveable'. |
