It's shocking that Jackson or Cobain died the way they did? Especially compared to 2 people shot randomly and another in a car accident.

Jackson's was out of nowhere.. I never saw that coming, fair point on Kurt. Then again with the birth of his daughter, he had a new lease of life and something to live for... then he shot himself.

5 most tragic deaths.

1) John Lennon
2) Kurt Cobain
3) Ian Curtis
4) Jeff Buckley
5) Elliott Smith

All of them, except for John. Had a lot left to give to music.

Like TheCunningStunt said Jacksons came out of no where. I think no one truly expected Kurt to do anything like that after his new lease on life. I think that's what made his death such a shock.
