What are some of your favorite older blink songs (those are the albums I'm more familiar with)? Nearly all of mine feature Mark's vocals...

Erm, personally I like Dude Ranch-Enema-TOYPAJ Blink a lot more than Buddha-CC Blink
Carousel (Cheshire Cat) Untitled (Dude Ranch) Dumpweed (Enema) Dysentery Gary (Enema) Anthem Pt 2 (Pants) Reckless Abandon (Pants) Please Take Me Home (Pants) are my favorite Tom songs |

'Untitled' is one of those rare songs that the vocals nearly completely turn me off. Ugh, this is the Tom I can't stand. 'Dumpweed' is pretty bleh. I have barely listened to Take Off Your Pants so I can't really comment on those. Cheshire Cat is kinda front-loaded but 'M + Ms' and 'Fentoozler' are both Mark. Dude Ranch gets off to a good start ('Dammit' is the other classic, duh), despite some Tom vocals, kinda hits a lull in the middle with Tom's songs, and then is good again around 'Josie' when Mark has a few in a row. In fact, 'Josie' is a great example of using Tom's voice for small amounts in the chorus--my preferred dose haha.

While it's nice that we have the arts and culture scene that we do (that pretty much is this city's main industry), it also makes it kind of insufferable sometimes. It seems like everybody with an acoustic guitar migrates here, so there's a LOT of pretentious crap in the local scene to sort through.
5 (of many) Great Posthumous Albums: 1. Elliott Smith - From a Basement on the Hill 2. Jeff Buckley - Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk 3. Mother Love Bone - Apple 4. Janis Joplin - Pearl 5. Gram Parsons - Grievous Angel
