It's probably the darkest & most punchiest album they ever recorded. In fact I don't think there's a single ballad on it.

I can go through the whole thing without skipping a single track, which is something I can't say for loads of 'non cheesy' bands.

Personal Choice:
Top 5 Detroit Garage Rock Singles, 1966
1) Bob Seger and the Last Heard - East Side Story
2) The Rationals - Respect
3) Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels - Devil With the Blue Dress On
4) ? and the Mysterians - 96 Tears
5) Terry Knight and the Pack - I (Who Have Nothing) (Yeah, it's the Ballad of the bunch, but sometimes I'm one for those over-produced happenings)

Top 5 Detroit Garage Rock Singles, 1967
1) Bob Seger and the Last Heard - Heavy Music Parts 1&2
2) Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels - Sock It To Me, Baby
3) Woolies - Who Do You Love?
4) MC5 - I Can Only Give You Everything (From March, '67, just before they really started kicking out the jams. Great warm-up though, with a classic B-Side)
5) The Rationals - Leavin' Here (Great Motown cover)

My top 5 favourite songs from the year I was born (1983)

1. Siouxsie and the Banshees - Dear Prudence
2. The Cure - The Lovecats
3. Bob Marley - Buffalo Soldier
4. The Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (are made of this)
5. Duran Duran - Is there something I should know
