Here we can post upcoming tours and stuff. They have these on some other forums and I think they are a pretty good way of keeping updated.

i'm going to be seeing Zappa does Zappa in July. the dates are in google for those interested. they're touring north america this summer, if youtube clips are any indication Dweezil doesn't let anything slide and most definitely lives up to his family name.

^Sounds awesome. I'd kill to see Zappa Plays Zappa.

Anyways Godspeed You etcetc are going to tour the US. I can only hope they come around my parts.

tickets are pricey (i paid $80 Canadian for a nice floor seat - still about $50 for a balcony seat at my theater) but they're playing all over the states too. check your listings you might be pleasantly surprised.

I caught Peelander Z a few weeks ago, life just isn't complete without this Japanese punk band. :love:

i hear ya sidewinder, just thought that this may be more efficient. This thread announces tours, so people have time to see if its coming to a city near them or anything of that, while the other just announces a concert that the user is going to. at that point it may be too late for someone to catch a show.

But the other thread can serve for posting announcements too.

Either way, if the thread stays it would be better suited as a General Music thread rather than being specific to Rock & Metal.

Skindred have been on tour for what seems an eternity and are still going around the UK. Best live band I have EVER seen!

The two could easily be combined, but i think theres enough of a difference to justify the two. If any of the other mods disagree then im sure they'll make a call.
