^Just didn't have the temperament to cope with being a pop star. Fortunately he'd respond to that in a positive way and make some of the most simultaneously awesome and challenging music I've heard because of it.

Gary Moore is another famous leftie guitarist.

Kate Bush wasn't cut out for fame. She's said it was never a part of why she wanted to do music and it seems she's tried hard to live a sort of normal non-celebrity life (as far as I know). No exciting breakdowns in public that I'm aware of, though!

Yeah, for a lot of folks I've introduced him to, the voice is a pretty dividing factor. I've never had much of a problem with it myself, but it definitely takes getting used to.
