I was attempting to, you know... reply to the thread topic. I was under the illusion that was kind of how musicbanter works?

edit: Yeah, what Janszoon said.

Pretty obvious choice coming from me, so I'll just post a picture of him;

^Just didn't have the temperament to cope with being a pop star. Fortunately he'd respond to that in a positive way and make some of the most simultaneously awesome and challenging music I've heard because of it.

Gary Moore is another famous leftie guitarist.

Kate Bush wasn't cut out for fame. She's said it was never a part of why she wanted to do music and it seems she's tried hard to live a sort of normal non-celebrity life (as far as I know). No exciting breakdowns in public that I'm aware of, though!

That'd be Sir Scott Walker (I talk about him quite a bit here, so I thought I'd try and avoid bringing up him or his music for a while).

Started out with songs like this;

And went on to do stuff like this;

Hmmm, never heard of him before. The music certainly sounds interesting, not so sure about his voice though.

Yeah, for a lot of folks I've introduced him to, the voice is a pretty dividing factor. I've never had much of a problem with it myself, but it definitely takes getting used to. Don't wanna get this thread too far off on a tangent so I won't go on, but if you'd be interested in an album, just drop me a PM and I'll get a link your way (pretty sure I've still got one or two of them on my mediafire account).
