Default Reading and Leeds 2010

What do people think? Personally it's a massive improvement on last year's piece of ****e. I wish I could go for the full weekend again but:

A) None of my mates are camping this year.

and

B) I can't afford it.

So GNR/QOTSA and Weezer days it is for me then!

It's an awful lineup, it's like an issue of NME from 2005 in the form of a festival. There's only a few bands I'd want to actually see. Latitude looks far better, that or the Belle And Sebastian ATP that they're beginning to confirm bands for.

That's almost the first thought I had.

Although mine was closer to 'Fuck me, I thought most of those bands spilt up years ago. Who the shitting hell buys Biffy Clyro & Lost Prophets albums in 2010'?'

It'd have been a good 2004/5 line up, with bright up and comers like LCD Soundsystem and Klaxons alongside veterans GNR and "band of the people" The Libertines. For 2010 most of those reek of "past it".

Oooooh excitement, there are special guests on the NME stage on Saturday.

On the strength of that bill I'll bet a tenner it's either Shed 7 or Hard Fi
