I buy all of my CDs. I've never just bought a digital download, I buy the physical thing. If I don't buy the whole CD I just listen to the one or so songs by that artist on Youtube or download it from Limewire but I feel bad about it lol. Most of the kids in my school just use their IPods though and download digital files only. I don't have an IPod :S but I do have an MP3 somewhere, don't use it much.

I download it, and then buy what I like. I have a pretty big records collection, almost all of them were downloaded and "tested" first, and only once I realized I really like em, I bought em.

I buy most of what I have... I have a few downloads sitting around I know I'll never buy, because, basically they're albums other people sent me to try out and I didn't like them...I'm likely to delete those pretty soon!

I download most things, buy what and when I can (which is mostly used vinyl).

I don't torrent the entire discography all at once. Nowdays i when i download a discography torrent i torrent one album at a time so i can get into a certain album before moving onto another. It's true what you said about burning out on a particular artist when you get their entire discography all at once. For artists with a huge back catalog it can really be too much music to handle.
