I'm really tired of The Doors hate, I know Morrison was a douche, but so are most rock stars, if I can put that aside and appreciate the actual music (because it's awesome) I don't know why others can't.

Just because Morrison was a bit of a tit, how's that a reason for The Doors hate? Surely they're just judged on the music? Most musicians are egotistical and have addiction..

Yeah but he's saying The Doors hate is DUE to his personality, I'm asking why people would hate a band because of one of the member's personality and not base it on the music?

Piano is a classical instrument.. rock is guitar based. Suppose there's no set rule, I just prefer my guitars in rock music that's all..

I hate Keane just as much as anyone else, but I could think of at least 10 songs off the top of my head that are so much worse than anything Keane have released (same goes for a lot else on that list). This, this and this for example (Keane wish they were this terrible).
