and the point is that I shouldn't be pushing my imagination. urban, you made a great point at one time in this thread pointing out that we still talk about a ****-ton of bands from 25 years ago, the majority in fact. I am considering who, from our generation will be remembered on a large scale as being important and influential.

Band that STARTED "from 2000 and up." It seems pretty clear from the first post.

Actually the point I was making with that post was you don't need to be a musical heavyweight to be remembered in 25 years.

So my point of view is actually closer to piknik's who you were slating than it is to yours.
