I didn't know either...then again i hate zz top and like Mr.Blue sky but not all that classical and opera **** in it. Like on the intro to the Stone's you can't always...**** opera and classical ****. i hate it when it ruins good proper songs.

I saw this photo of Jennifer Charles from Lovage and Elysian Fields on google images. I thought she was a penis.

Many 'punk' bands these days sound more like Bruce Springsteen than, say, The Clash or The Sex Pistols.

Case in point... The Gaslight Anthem.

He has one. But it's of Bruce Springsteen's face so it's hard to see.

Just posted a recommendation on someone's intro page, I thought it'd fit here quite nicely as well.

Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea
Is pretty much THE Indie album.
Most people who like Indie adore the album, I've noticed this album (and Velvet Underground & Nico) are hated by lovers of Progressive Rock and Metal.
Avid Progressive Rock fans seem to love White Light/White Heat but strongly dislike VU&N.

You've seen this? They tend to hate WL/WH even more from what I've seen. The things they tend to hate about TVU (the fact that its production isn't boringly polished, the fact that they repeat things, the fact that they made noise instead of sweep-picking solos, the inventiveness that idiots write off as 'PRETENTIOUS ARTSY BULL****!!!!!!!') are even more prominent in WL/WH than TVU&N. I know many-a-person who've listened to "The Gift" and have thought "THIS IS JUST WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Alas, metalheads (the stereotypical/cynical/boring-yet-somehow-annoying kind, mind you, not some of the cool ones you'd meet here) have terrible taste in anything other than their comfort zone.
