I disagree strongly.
Cover bands can be a good starting point for musicians who still need to gain some musical knowledge and build enough confidence to write their own material. |

There's a massive difference between a cover band and a band who play covers.

I only have one experience of a cover act.
It was someone doing Shakira. She looked more like Tina Turner.
