I got Amber based on your recommendation. It is a little hard to get into, but I think the talent these guys have is slowly starting to creep into my brain. I think I will check the other albums you mentioned here if they are so varied. I love it when an electronic artist can release albums with distinct personalities. So many artists can release album after album of electronic music that I really can't even pick apart.

Well I think to the uninitiated, their albums may sound the same to an extent, with a few exceptions that are obviously a different vibe. I would suggest you either get Draft 7.30 or Quaristice next. Draft because I think it's their best, and Quaristice because the songs are much shorter than normal for them and it's almost like a sketchbook of ideas. A bit off-putting to long-time fans but there are a lot of great ideas within that are easier for newcomers to wrap their heads around.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

^There's really not too many things on earth that are cooler than that short chime bit at :30 seconds or so, right before the chorus starts. Freaking love that part.

That sounds pretty good V&F. I need to get on that.

Default bands I have been liking this Month.

Currently I have been listening to a lot of My Morning Jacket this month, kick ass band, especially the early recording album Sandworm Cometh. Another cool band I just saw and was digging on after getting a copy of their EP is The Modern Conspiracy. They really remind me of Kings of Leon, but a little bit more toned down.

I've been enjoying a lot of The Dear Hunter this month; they blend a lot of cool schlock together, from post-hardcore bursts of energy to Talking Heads funkiness to early Queen-like guitar heroics to friggen' vaudeville of all things...

In other words, very amazing stuff.
