ok, i'm done thinking (i've spent a lot of time on this one) and just when i was giving up, i saw this video on vh1...the song i'd like all my friends and family to cry their asses out remembering what a cool person i was (oh God this sounds sick) i mean THE COOL PERSON THAT I AM , would have to be "One of us"- Joan Osbourne (i don't know any of her songs, i don't even know if she HAS any other songs) but that one's pretty deep.
i'm surprised no one's said anything about "Seasons in the Sun", though

That song's already been killed. I believe Westlife were the culprits.

kristopherson/jennings/cash/nelson - Highwayman (after all the song is about each of them dying but still living on) if you havent heard it, i recommend it even if it is country.

Fade to black almost definetly. Id like In Loving Memory by Alter Bridge, cos that song is amazing, but "In Loving Memory" wouldnt really apply in my case.. So fade to black it is

I just had a thought... Itd be fun to have cant touch this by mc hammer... Heh yeah I pick that.

I agree. But I still shudder when I think of a great song that has been covered badly yet had too much exposure, even if I'm listening to the original version. It kind of ruins its memory a little. A similar thing happened with Stealers Wheel, Stuck in the Middle, but its so long ago now I can listen to it without hearing that awful cover in my head.
