I agree. But I still shudder when I think of a great song that has been covered badly yet had too much exposure, even if I'm listening to the original version. It kind of ruins its memory a little. A similar thing happened with Stealers Wheel, Stuck in the Middle, but its so long ago now I can listen to it without hearing that awful cover in my head.

kristopherson/jennings/cash/nelson - Highwayman (after all the song is about each of them dying but still living on) if you havent heard it, i recommend it even if it is country.

Fade to black almost definetly. Id like In Loving Memory by Alter Bridge, cos that song is amazing, but "In Loving Memory" wouldnt really apply in my case.. So fade to black it is

I just had a thought... Itd be fun to have cant touch this by mc hammer... Heh yeah I pick that.

I would say the song to be played at my funeral would be Burning Bright by Shine Down. As you can guess by my name burning bright expresses the feelings in my life. I love this song to death.

Default Funeral song

what song would you have played at your funeral?

mine- without a doubt, would be "who wants to live forever" by queen....not only is it apt, but im thinking it would make your family members feel a whole lot happier!

There was this daft punk song.....which name evades me ill have to check up, it was synthesised, utter beauty of a song, no lyrics just 2 or 3 minutes of this solumn chiming, would suit the mood perfectly. Either that or the other extreme, 'Paradise City' - Guns'n'Roses, cause thats where im going, and its one of my favourite songs.
