I don't have nearly the amount of music most of you guys have. Only about 4G on my Zune (which has 30G of space), and 1G more than that on my computer. But I have a crap load of CD's that I haven't gotten around to loading on my PC/Zune yet. Plus, since I'm trying to broaden out a little, I'm keeping some room open for new stuff!

More than 80GB
around 200 GB to be exact. |
400 vinyl (used to be 2400)
2500 CDs 120 GB of music (borrowing indefinitely) |

I have 4623 songs -- 26.21 gigs. Lately, however, I have been downloading variable bit rate versions of my albums to make them better quality/bigger files...
I have about 50-100 records which my parents gave me. A lot of sick old Rush and The Who... good times. Anyways, I started my personal music collection when I was 14, so at about 17 to have that many songs is pretty good. |
Wow I'm so sad. Haha. I have nowhere near what most of ye guys have!I only got my laptop in March so haven't done much downloading yet. Lol.
I only have like...1000 songs oO And maybe about 3/4 albums I haven't put on my laptop yet oO |

realistically, having over 30 gigs of music means you are just bolstering your library. If you actually listened to that much different music every day, you wouldn't have a life. I don't mean that as offense, but as saying that we waste lots of time and money on music we will probably never listen to. I listen to music about 1.5 hours a day and as much as 4 on weekends and I still have plenty of music on my Itunes I have never listened to, records that have only left the package once, and cds that are lost somewhere in the nether regions of the closet universe/floor.
I think if I had never gone over to digital I would probably spend a lot less money on music and just buy cd's I REALLY wanted. |
