101.07 gigs. More every day, and I listen to every bit of it.

My music is my soul.

That's when a CD sees daylight for a bit. Other than that the only time I ever play a CD is if I'm driving home from the place I just bought it. Most of the time I'm content to listen to an iPod or iPhone connected to my home stereo via a docking station, though my car stereo or just with earbuds.
I believe there are some programs you can download to convert lossless to mp3, but in your case I'd only get it to burn a disc specifically for a Stereo. If you search hard enough you may even be able to download a program that preserves that quality of your lossless. I'm sure I've seen one somewhere.. If you decide to look let me know and I'll see if I can find it again.

I'm somewhere around 17,000 tunes.

I'm thinking specifically of a device like the Squeezebox that streams music wirelessly from your computer to your stereo. I'm not looking to burn discs, but to have audio that is full lossless quality without using physical media. My iPod dock sounds quite good plugged into the stereo but sometimes I need that last extra bit of oomph.

Ah, I gotcha. Ya I'm not sure how to help you there. I don't have room yet for a stereo so I do most of my listening on my laptop unfortunately.

There are plenty of 'em out there that's for sure. I picked up a KIMA about 9 years ago, and while it's not quite as robust or high-end as some of the ones out now, it was dirt cheap and streams my upstairs tunes down to my living room system very well. Heck, it's been doing that from day one..always on..always working. Never had a huge problem with it aside from the occasional CB-truck radio interference early on while I was in the process of upgrading my receiver...

^ I've got 105.9 gigs. I've probably listened to about 70% of it, and I'm working on getting a 1 next to the play count for every single song.
