Sigh...I thought with the word "own" in the title this would be about physical collections...but from the first post it's all about digital. Oh well.

Digital: about 210-250GB in mp3 ranging from 192 to 320kps
Physical: About 1600 CDs, maybe about 24 vinyls (12"s and LPs)

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Goodness, I was pissed off when I had to start over on a new computer. But still had all the old stuff on my old computer. That must be soul destroying trying to remember all the good stuff

Yeah that's happened to me about 3 times. I tend to have music ADD so I lose interest in most stuff and get rid of it without any second thoughts. I only keep the stuff I REALLY enjoy.. and pretty much all of it is floating around online so I can always replace it. This goes especially for Electronic music.

I voted 16-40gb but a big part of that is just some random crap that others put on my computer that I never listen to, like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan etc.
