I would have donated money to NOT hear that song.

As clichéd as Everybody Hurts has become, it really was a great song..... about teen depression and suicide. Not about earthquakes in third world countries.

im with you as far as the quality goes. i'd rather hear my parents having sex than listen to what i just paid as little attention to as possible in that vid. but it is celebrities using their pull in the media to contribute to the helping of a people in an extremely shi**y position, and quite franky, most peoples (as in the majority) taste in music... (insert sentence ending here) ... so it will probably be quite effective.

This sort of thing is awful for me. I keep thinking I should probably support it because it's in aid of a charity but let's face it it's just a very fake venture on behalf of Simon Cowell again and in his head I'm debating whether or not this is foreseen as a charity event or a publicity stunt.
The latter. Every artist in the video is affiliated with Simon Cowell in one form or another. X Factor Aid.

Haha, Susan Boyle sang.

That cracks me up so much... just the image of her singing with all the other people
