This is going surprise people here who know my tastes but I'm going have to go with the Beatles on this one. It's one of the better Beatles songs IMO and I couldn't even make it all the way through the Primal Scream track.

I love when it come into the chorus of The Beatles' Come Together, the verse and the chorus together kind of bothers me though. It just seems a little disjointed and fused together.
I listened to the Primal Scream track and I'm going to go with The Beatles. Not a bad song just kind of a jam that I didn't find especially moving. |

Definitely The Beatles' Come Together. It is one of my favourite Beatles tracks, and I don't think it's overrated. I just really love it and can never help but tap my feet or bounce along when I hear it played. Great song.

Even as a massive Beatles fan words cannot describe how much I hate come together. Its is just extremely annoying and I disllike everything about it.
Primal Scream come together is excellent so that naturally wins. |

Primal Scream take it for me. I like the Beatles track, but it's far from a favourite of mine. Along with Maxwell's Silver Hammer it's probably my least-played track on Abbey Road. Paul Weller covered it and improved on it too.

While The Beatles song isn't one of my favorites, it's still good. This was my first time to hear the Primal Scream song, and it doesn't do much for me. Too long, too repetitive, and I find the repeated female vocal a bit cheesy, making the whole song a bit cheesy like We Are the World. Wouldn't care to hear it again, so I'll go with The Beatles.
On another note, I haven't listened to any Primal Scream albums but have probably heard a few of their songs...and expected this to be more rock-based.

As much as a Primal Scream fanboy I am I would have gone for the Spiritualized track had it been included.
Especially the single version where they recorded it with a full orchestra, that version was fucking immense.
