I've never heard of them. Should I be proud?

Unfortunetly I have heard of the winners - The Zac Brown Band. I love country music. I hate boring, cringe-worthy Nashville music and beyond stupid-ass Southerners I don't see the appeal... and I certainly don't see how they stand out in a genre which, and I'm not just being ignorant here, really does sound the same band after awful band.

Well they seem to have a fairly strong jam-band presense which, whether you like it or not, makes them standout in a field of bland pop-rock that is Modern Country music.

Most of those nominations make me cry a little inside :*(

Will make an attempt of the next week to listen to various bits of the nominations, and post.
