I'm gonna have to go with Tool on this one...

Mind you, I really do like Tool a lot. But... just, come on. Some people just get stupid about it. I realize this goes for the die-hard fans of pretty much any band... but Tool's just seem so much more pretentious.

what the hell? i thought this would be mocking stupid pop bands around today who insist they're "rock"? i love most of those bands u listed, but granted people who play guitar hero and then think they are musically educated piss me off

I wanted to make a list of real, legit rock bands. It would've been far too easy to list the Jonas Brothers or some crap like that
