CD's.

I sometimes download the odd track if it's just that one track i'm after and not necessarily the whole album. The only album that i've downloaded was a "Cream" album. I saw it in HMV not long after where it was priced cheaper than what i paid to download it.

It's been said a million times, but i LOVE having the artwork. I like a lot of artists who's packaging and CD art is a big deal. I get a lot of Japanese releases of albums i like purely for the different artwork and how they're presented. Albums are released as such amazing editions over there. Expensive but cool.

But the sound quality kills mp3.

Yep. Just recently I got BT's new album, and the front of the case is totally thin and opens like a book page, and the art booklet slides out on the top and bottom, instead of out the side. Also it's two discs that are completely black on top (except for a 1 and 2) and the bottoms of the discs are jet black as well...like a playstation game or something. Stuff ilke that really does matter, and gives my inner music nerd a boner for sure.

Don't even get me started on the Fabriclive series. Sickest packaging ever for CDs.

At this point, I'm more into CDs, but I'm really interested in this vinyl thing. I really want to get the most out of my music and it seems like vinyl provides the most (from the places I read). mp3s are the most portable, but it's just not the same buying an mp3 as it is buying a CD. Being able to hold the dang CD makes all of the difference to me.

Yes I buy full albums and such off of the internet, but it's just not the same as being able to actually hold the physical media.

So for me, CD>mp3>vinyl . Vinyl is only in last because I don't have a table to play it on.

The Black Crowes did that with their latest as well. The CD looks like a record, complete with "grooves" on the top of the disc, and the underside is jet black. Kinda cool

I like it when artists put a bit of effort into the disc.... Like Rob Zombies latest. It's not a very good album, but the artwork is fan****ingtastic.

It all depends on the quality of the remaster. In some cases, the transmission to digital went like ****, in other cases it went great.

I listen to most if not all of my music digitally. I don't have to worry about scratches on my vinyl or cd. A lot more clearer also.

I used to be into vinyl but now I like CDs alot more.Mainly because I like listening to albums through headphones rather than stereo.

Digital, simply because it's easier.
