After listening to this uhh... song, the concept strangely interested me and I decided to research these odd "black metal" (if a french guy gargling into a $5 mic and what sounds like torturing small animals over a soundtrack from a 1940's horror movie counts as 'black metal') and came across this interview. If it was possible to nuke a musical genre, I think now would be a good time to do it to black metal (although nuking it from its start also wouldn't have been such a bad idea). what the fuck.

I actually like that.
And holy crap, Brenoritvrezorkre takes the cake. I've heard some pretty unsettling dark alternative ambient-ish stuff (black and white horror music plus what sounds like a child drowning), but Breno topped the weirdness factor for me. :/ For those curious, the song is "Deceased" by Delerium. It isn't on youtube, otherwise I would have posted a link. The song is pretty long, and I actually like the second half, which doesn't contain any of the vocal samples. |
