Nice thread. Now I can show the two picks for the last Music Trading Post where nobody reviewed my choices. :thumb:
The theme was favorite covers...here's the two that I sent: Chick Corea - Time Warp http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/image...3ae1e010.L.jpg Lords of Acid - Voodoo U Moderator cut: image removed As for worst, I realized that even though this album was my favorite of last year, the cover might be the blandest ever created: La Roux - La Roux http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA280_.jpg Only thing keeping me from just falling asleep when I look at that, is the font they picked had that sorta cool lightning bolt looking thing coming off the 'r'. (As for the poll, I picked the top option. Cover art, and even the inlay art can add so much to an albums personality. I could write a whole essay about how I feel about album art, but I might save that for my journal I think.) |
