It's an easy yes from me and I think they'll make it through this round.

I hope so because it will be really interesting come induction thread time.

They are too important to music, regardless of the circumstances of who made music in the genre, it is what it is and they were the face of a movement. I know we were stupid enough to keep Zeppelin out, but that won't happen again once they get renominated. Lets hurry and make this a landslide and start thinking about if their impacxt is significant enough to override any personal dislike and vote them in.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

I'm not really sure. On the one hand I don't like them very much (besides a handful of songs) and I never really have. On the other hand, given their influence it'd be a crime if they didn't at least make the induction round. Plus the way they changed direction with In Utero when they could so easily have cashed in on a success formula earns them that little bit more respect from me.

I'm gonna stay out of this one as well.

Quoting because it was a great post that got left in the dust.
