if you don't like the music, fine, but at least have a reason pertaining to the actual music.

look, i'm not trying to start some big arguement or something, i'm just stating my opinion. sorry if i didn't make it clear before

Me not liking his music or caring for it does pertain to the actual music. If it was different then it is or at all stimulating to me then I would vote yes; but that isn't the case.

ok, that's what i was saying; that's a legitimate reason. but not liking his music because, quote "He watched girls pee"(refer to one of the previous posts) doesn't pertain to even listening to it. and this isn't an attack on you, don't get me wrong, but can you at least see what i'm saying?

Big3 had other reasons besides the one you keep referring to. I assume the "he watched girls pee" was intended as a joke. I laughed at least.

yeah, now that i think about it, it did seem kind of tounge-in-cheek.

If Chuck Berry dosen't get voted in, I'll consider it an even bigger tragedy than Yes not getting in.

At least I understood why Yes didn't get in, despite how strongly they deserved it in my opinion.

Subjective opinion effects my votes somewhat but I mostly think about the impact and contributions of that artist, Berry has done more for the development of rock music than, well pretty much anyone.

I'm not a huge Berry fan either, but this is a bunch of inconsistant bullsh*t, at least half of those who voted against Yes getting in were people who liked Yes but (stupidly) thought they didn't contribute enough to rock music to get in, and now Chuck Berry risks not making it for the exact opposite reason?

People understand the influence, but the thing is, we just don't want to listen to Johnny B. Goode. If you're going to argue this than why isn't Mozart in our HOF?
