Damn, I've been meaning to get into this band for a while, but in the meantime the only song I know is "Rise", (which I do find fantastic). I'm not voting yet, Ima try to get some of their stuff before the poll closes though.

Can't vote yet, I'll have to check out more of their stuff. Album to start with?

The aforementioned Metal Box but I don't think it would be your sort of thing. It is very minimalist but who knows?

To be honest, PIL is a band I respect more than I actually listen to. It's hard to fault Metal Box/Second Edition or tracks like Public Image and Seattle, but I usually have to force myself to listen to them.

I'll abstain from now, but leaning towards "Yes."

Yes!

I'd have them over the Pistols any day (and don't get me wrong, I love the Pistols). Metal Box and Flowers Of Romance are two of my favourite albums of all time and on top of that the only thing linking each of their albums (in my opinion) is Lydon's voice ( = a massively interesting discography). Such an undervalued band - love 'em to bits!

I find myself in a very similar position.

I have been voting most bands as YES right now, and as the nominations finish and we do an official vote I tend to be more strict, so more bands get a chance to be voted in.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and a million times, yes. One of my favorite bands ever.

So far, I don't like them as much as the sex pistols, and I don't like the sex pistols that much so it's probably going to be a no for me.

Nope. I don't really enjoy them that much.
