I have always had a soft spot for the Kinks, then I checked out their later stuff such as 'Village Green' and was flabbergasted at how influential they were. A resounding yes. Alays more interesting lyrically to the Beatles too. Quintessentially English.

Yes... An amazing band, and hugely important during the British Invasion... Certainly my favourite of the bunch.Certainly underrated by the people around me, save their huge commercial hit in 'You Really Got Me'.
Very influential. |
