If you take away the people who have less than 100 posts it's still 6 to 8.

I'm getting desperate.
Can everybody that votes at least clarify how familiar they are with the band? Because way too many people seem to only be familiar with this band for Owner of a Lonely Heart and for the "King Arthur on Ice" guy. If you've only heard a few songs from a band or artist, then I think you should refrain from voting unless you're voting based on their impact and contributions and what not. I'll gladly upload songs or albums or anything if you think you need more to go on before you can cast your vote. |

I have: Fragile, The Yes Album, Close To The Edge (Yuck! My friend recommended it to me), Relayer, and Yes. Fragile and Yes are their best, but Close To The Edge and Relayer aren't that good at all.
I think they helped shaped prog, and had great musicianship, but I dislike almost everything about Anderson...his annoying vocals and his superficial lyrics that try to be meaningful but sound like crap. They weren't great for melodies either, relied on atmosphere too much for me which results in some plain boring songs. And I don't like symphonic progressive rock that much. |
